Combine that with Beatport Link, and at least in theory, there are more ways to get your music played. 2 Beatport LINK is a subscription service for DJs that makes Beatport’s catalog of over 6 million tracks available to stream directly into performance software such as rekordbox dj. Now i know that you can use beatport link directly in the rekordbox. For those with a subscription to the streaming services, users will now have access to the millions of tracks available online to use during DJ performances going forward. Pioneer’s Rekordbox continues its play to be the DJ software to beat and there’s a ton of stuff in the latest release pretty much everyone will want, from cloud and mobile sync all the way up to some powerful live visual features. I had a question about the beatport link functionality with recordbox and the xdj 700.

BEATPORT LINK REKORDBOX UPDATE
You can't add Link tracks into manual playlists yet - although they do show up in smart playlists, where you can change names, add star ratings, my tag etc. It’s official, the newest update of Pioneer DJ’s Rekordbox allows for seamless integration with both Beatport LINK and SoundCloud Go+. Bit annoying as I use history to create playlists. Played tracks don't show up in history, or go green after you've played them.
BEATPORT LINK REKORDBOX PRO
The Pro plan lets you save 50 songs offline while Pro+ lets you save 100 songs, great for when you’re spinning at a venue. I haven't tried the offline 'locker' yet. You’ll need a Beatport Link subscription to stream using Rekordbox DJ, and there are three plans available: Beatport Link (US14.99/month), Beatport Link Pro (US39.99/month), and Beatport Link Pro+ (US59.99/month). Streaming quality seems quite variable - listening back to a mix from yesterday and the streamed tracks sound poorer quality to my normal MP3s - possibly due to other internet use in the house so if someone's watching Netflix in the other room then quality might suffer. Ideally they'd build it in so you can use the main site/mybeatport/charts and just add tracks to playlists for Link. so you have to know what you're looking for. There's currently no filtering for label, genre etc. There's a separate section in 'library' where you have to build them using a really basic search function.

You've got to make playlists in beatport but the system isn't great. I play progressive house so can't speak for any other styles. labels on there but older tracks, a few months lag, i guess. Newer tracks aren't available on it, which makes sense. The integration with RB works pretty well but there's some stuff that needs ironing out - fair given that it's a beta.
